MREPC successfully organised a specialised mission on engineering rubber products to Jakarta and Medan, Indonesia from 26 - 30 April 2017. The mission was led by Ms Low Yoke Kiew, CEO of MREPC. During the mission, MREPC organised an educational seminar in Jakarta and Medan respectively as well as a business-matching session for the participating Malaysian manufacturer in Jakarta. Speakers from Indonesia and Malaysia presented papers during the seminars, which were attended by a total of 163 participants. The Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr Zhamshari Shaharan, attended the seminar in Jakarta. At the seminar in Medan, the Consul General of Malaysia, the Honourable Mr Amizal Fadzli Rajali, delivered some special remarks. The seminars attracted civil and structural engineers, engineering consultants, engineering professors and students from universities as well as officers from construction firms. The seminars highlighted current developments in structural bearings as well as provided a platform for industry experts to establish networking with the Malaysian manufacturer.
