MREPC will organise a working visit to Germany and Netherlands from 28 March – 6 April 2017. The working visit, comprising several delegates from Malaysia, will be led by MREPC’s Chief Executive Officer, Ms Low Yoke Kiew.
The Malaysian delegates will be meeting with leading robotics and automation companies in Germany and Netherlands. The objective of this meeting is to explore potential collaboration between Malaysian rubber product manufacturers with German and Dutch organisations in the field of robotics and automation. The Malaysian delegates hope to establish link and knowledge sharing to further automate and improve the overall value chain of manufacturing process.
In Netherlands, the Rotterdam Partners and Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency are among the organisations that will be meeting the Malaysian delegates. The meetings will include identifying advantages of using the Port of Rotterdam as a gateway to Europe, supporting services provided by relevant organisations and tax incentives.
